Our company opened in
June of 2006. The fact that we are a new company makes it
that much more important that each and every one of our
clients is satisfied. Since our opening
we have been touched be the tremendous response and support
from pet owners in our community about the new services we offer.
Metro Pet Crematory was
built with the pet owner in mind. The owner of Metro Pet
Crematory worked for years in the human death care
industry. The same standards of service expected for our
human family members at a funeral facility is what your pet
will receive at Metro Pet Crematory. We provide the most
thoughtful and comprehensive cremation services available to
pet owners in the Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and
surrounding area. All services provided by our company are
performed at our Burnside facility. Our facility is a
spacious, warm environment that allows the pet owner a place
for a meaningful goodbye if they wish.
Our company is approved
by the Department of Environment. We are also members of
the IAOPCC. The pet death care industry is unregulated in
North America but we follow a strict code of ethics outlined
by the IAOPCC.

At Metro Pet Crematory we have raised the
bar in pet memorial services in the Halifax Regional
Municipality by providing a better and faster service that
fulfills the needs of pet owners, veterinarians and of
course, our beloved pets. At MPC our mission is to
constantly strive to improve our services. We are confident
we can memorialize your dear friend while maintaining his or
her individuality.
